Yep, it wasn't long when I proclaimed an "end of an era". However, things didn't quite work out at the new office so I've laid tracks again.
I'm now in new premises, larger space, closer to home and, most importantly, 24 hour access. Though it's not as great as the first office (actually my second but, hey, who's counting?), it's a dramatic change from where I was. The atmosphere is also much, much better. I'm looking forward to an enjoyable stay here.

Getting back into the swing of things
It's been a while since I've been able to put finger to keyboard. The office move took a lot out of me! I actually ended up damaging one of the nerves that controls mobility in my right hand while moving some heavy stuff. I was in pain for some weeks with very little use of my right hand. Thankfully it's mostly behind me now though I'm still on medication.
It was the 10th annivasary of the passing of my mum a couple of days ago, dad's birthday today (Happy Birthday Dad!!), and my eldest will be thirteen later this month. To commemorate these significant events, I've decided to reveal "Da Beast", my trusted iron horse, as the Bike of the Month for March. It's a 2004 Road King Custom with a few goodies add on including a Stage 1 tuning. Enjoy.

End of an Era
After five years in Enfield, circumstances have led me to relocate my office to Tottenham in London. A couple of my buddies helped me shift most of the furniture and equipment onto a rented van and off loaded them at the new premises. Notice how it took just one sentence to describe what took five hours of back-breaking work. It was freezing like Siberia but I was sweating like a Christmas Turkey.
Phones are not yet connected (Thursday they said), but I'm sort of loking forward to resuming work at the new place on Monday. However, I still need to go through the pain of unpacking and setting up over this weekend.

Aborted test ride
I was looking forward to test-riding the "King" but the weather thought otherwise. It was wet and windy all day with some icy patches thrown in for good measure. Anyway, I live to ride another day. Will keep you posted.

Test riding the King
I should be going for a test tide on the 2007 Road King on Saturday. The salesman hopes for a quick sale and I'll be there for the experience. I went to enquire about the same bike late last year and was offered a paltry sum for my 2004 FLHRSI which put me off completely. I'm now more keen on a Big Dog Sledge Street Pro or Chopper (left) – still out of the reach of my pocket though.

New office move
Finally decided where to relocate the office to – Tottenham. I hope the new year brings a turn in fortune and the change of premises, a breadth of fresh air.

Back to reality
Happy New Year! Xmas is over, the turkey is all gone, presents already broken and the effects of all the wine just about clearing up. I'm back at work now and back into the rat race. I'm meant to be moving office but still unsure where to. Very stressful, particularly when I got tax returns to make as well.
Anyway. hope you enjoyed listening to snippets of my smooth jazz collection from my last post. Just something to keep the mind sane while you digest the last bits of the "mould" wine :)
